Another weekend of football is upon us, of course with its drama and excitement. And that means the chance of winning more at YangaSPort.
Will Man Utd keep hope of top 4 alive? Will Napoli form improve, can Arsenal survive another weekend at the top of the league?
And so much more….
Here is our review of top fixtures across Europe this weekend.
Let’s go
West Ham vs Arsenal
There will be fireworks when West Ham and Arsenal face each other in the London derby on Sunday. The Hammers did well to make amends for a heavy 5-1 loss to Newcastle United, with the team beating Fulham thanks to Harrison Reed’s own goal, but they do not want to stop now. David Moyes managed to keep his job, but his men are only three points clear of the relegation zone ahead of the visit of Arsenal.
The Gunners, on the other hand, aim to retain the top position in the standings. Mikel Arteta’s men are only six points clear of second-place Man City, and seeing that Pep Guardiola’s men have one game in hand, Sunday’s local derby is of big importance for the visiting side. Since Arsenal defeated West Ham in each of their last meetings, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the league leaders.
Our Prediction, Arsenal to win.
Nottingham Forest Vs Man United
Out-of-sorts Nottingham Forest will be aiming to put an end to their nine-match winless run when they face Manchester United in the Premier League round 31. The Reds have been slipping down the standings week by week, and, as a result, they sit in the relegation zone ahead of Sunday’s encounter. Since Forest failed to impress in a 2-0 loss to Aston Villa, a home win should not be considered.
The Red Devils, on the other hand, aim to build on back-to-back wins over Brentford and Everton. Considering that Erik ten Hag’s men are eager to stay in the Champions League berth, we predict that they will take advantage of Nottingham’s poor form.
Our prediction, Man Utd to win.
Chelsea vs Brighton
Following yet another disappointing defeat at Wolves, Chelsea will look to get back on course when they welcome Brighton to Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon. The Blues are stuck in the middle of the table with little to play for in the season finale, but their pride will be at stake this time out. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is pushing for a start after he was ineligible to face Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-finals, whereas both Cesar Azpilicueta and Mason Mount have recovered from their respective injuries.
The Seagulls, on the other hand, are enjoying a season to remember, with the team sitting in 7th place with two games in hand. Brighton aims to recover from a 2-1 loss to Tottenham, and given their attacking potential, both team’s score betting options should be considered.
Our prediction, both teams to score.
Tottenham vs Bournemouth
Tottenham and Bournemouth, the two teams with entirely different ambitions in the season finale, face each other in London on Matchday 31. Spurs recorded a very important win over Brighton at the weekend, with the team remaining in the Champions League berth, and they are seen as hot favorites to beat the Cherries on home soil. Harry Kane, who sealed the victory against the Seagulls, is likely to prove a handful for the opposition back-line, while all Davies, Emerson Royal, Sessegnon, Bentancur, Bissouma, and Lucas Moura remain in the recovery room.
Interim boss Cristian Stellini will watch the game from the stands following his sending-off in the last league match. The Cherries, on the other hand, aim to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Leicester, but they will have a mountain to climb in Saturday’s encounter. Tottenham is a real force to be reckoned with at home, and seeing that Bournemouth has already suffered ten defeats on the road this term, we are going to bet on the capital club. Junior Stanislas and Ryan Fredericks should be the only absentees in the away team.
Man City vs Leicester
Man City and Leicester City face each other in a David-vs-Goliath clash at Etihad Stadium. The Citizens rolled over Southampton 4-1 to melt Arsenal’s advantage to only six points, and, as a result, the bookies now see them as No.1 favorites to win the trophy. As always, a man to watch in the home team will be Norway ace Erling Haaland, who scored a brace at the weekend, whereas Phil Foden remains on the sidelines with an abdominal injury.
Brendan Rodgers’ sacking did not help Leicester get back on course, and given their three-game losing run in the national championship, anything but a routine home win would be a big surprise.
Our prediction, Man City to win, and OV 2.5
Bayern Munich vs Hoffenheim
After surviving Freiburg in the last league match, Bayern Munich will be looking to retain the top position when they host Hoffenheim at their Allianz Arena on Saturday. The Bavarians are eyeing their fifth consecutive win at home ground, and they are seen as hot favorites to beat Pellegrino Matarazzo’s troops on Matchday 28.
The visitors, on the other hand, have been showing signs of improvement of late, with the team winning each of their last league fixtures. Hoffenheim, though, is not regarded as good travelers, and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Bayern Munich’s party at Allianz Stadium.
Our prediction is Bayern to win and OV 2.5 goals.
Stuggart vs Dortmund
Mercedes-Benz Arena will host Saturday’s football game between Stuttgart and Borussia Dortmund, the two teams with entirely different ambitions in the season finale. Die Schwaben aim to build on a 3-2 win over Bochum, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry against the Yellow-Blacks.
Borussia Dortmund, on the other hand, aims to stay in the title race, and given their attacking potential, we believe that there is a big value in betting on over 2.5 goals. Giovanni Reyna should recover in time to face Stuttgart, while all Nico Schlotterbeck, Julien Duranville, and Mateu Morey remain in the recovery room. Marius Wolf will be assessed ahead of the kick-off. In the first half of the season, Borussia Dortmund outclassed Stuttgart 5-0.
Our prediction is Ov 2.5 goals
Napoli vs Verona
Napoli will be aiming to cement the top position in the Serie A standings when they welcome Verona to their Stadio Diego Armando Maradona on Saturday afternoon. The Partenopei quickly bounced back from a heavy 4-0 loss to Milan, with the team beating Lecce 2-1 on the road, and they are seen as favorites to beat the Mastini on home soil as well.
Verona, on the other hand, desperately needed a win against Sassuolo, and they managed to get one, with the team putting an end to their six-match winless run. Verona, though, often struggles on the travels, which is probably the main reason why we are going to bet on the league leaders this time out.
Our prediction, Napoli to win.
Cadiz vs Real Madrid
Cadiz and Real Madrid face each other at Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla in the closing match of Sunday’s program in the La Liga round 29. The Yellow Submarine did well to beat Real Betis on the road at the weekend, with the team putting an end to their four-match winless run. Cadiz is four points clear of the relegation zone, meaning that they are desperate to make life difficult for the star-studded capital club.
Los Blancos, on the other hand, aim to bounce back from a shocking loss to Villarreal, but seeing that the Yellow Submarine ruined their title hopes, we believe that there is a big value in betting on a draw.
Our Prediction, Draw.
