As the UEFA Champions League continues and this week’s 2 nights of UCL actions come with lots of exciting actions, suspense, and the opportunity to win more on the YangaSport platform.
With no further delay, let’s dive into the review and tell you what we think of some selected actions across Tuesday and Wednesday.
Here is our opinion…
Bayern Munich VS Barcelona
All eyes will be on Allianz Arena when Bayern Munich and Barcelona square off against each other in the Champions League derby. Bayern proved their worth in a 2-0 win over Inter, but they head into Tuesday’s clash following a slim 2-2 draw with Stuttgart. Summer signing Sadio Mane will be the man to watch in the home team.
The Catalan giants, on the other hand, rely on former Bayern Munich ace Robert Lewandowski, who has already netted nine goals in all competitions. Xavi has a full squad to choose from for the Group C derby, and, taking everything into account, over 2.5 goals betting options should be considered. When the two teams met in the Champions League quarter-finals two years ago Bayern crushed Barca 8-2.
Our prediction, Over 2.5, and GG
Liverpool VS Ajax
Liverpool will look to make amends for a 4-1 loss to Napoli when they host Ajax at Anfield in the Champions League group stages round 2. Sadio Mane has been sorely missed at the start of the season, with Mohamed Salah still looking for his best form.
The Amsterdammers, on the other hand, kicked off the new Champions League campaign with a 4-0 win over Rangers. Since the Eredivisie champions impressed in a 5-0 crushing of Heerenveen at the weekend as well, we predict that they will hold Liverpool to a draw at Anfield.
Our prediction, Draw
Bayer Leverkusen VS Atletico Madrid
BayArena will host a highly-anticipated Champions League game between Bayer Leverkusen and Atletico Madrid. The Bundesliga side aims to recover from an unexpected loss to Club Brugge, and they are likely to stick to their attacking style of play. Anyhow, a home win should not be considered as Bayer has been struggling at the back of late.
Los Rojiblancos, on the other hand, showed character in a 2-1 win over Porto, with Antoine Griezmann scoring the winner in the 11th minute of the stoppage time. Diego Simeone’s troops aim to give fans yet another reason for celebration, but beating Bayer Leverkusen on the road is easier said than done. Taking everything into account, we believe that there is a big value in betting on draws.
Our prediction, Draw.
Chelsea VS Salzburg
Following a shocking 1-0 loss to Dinamo Zagreb, Chelsea will look to record their first win in Group E when they host Salzburg at their Stamford Bridge on Wednesday evening. The Blues are seen as hot favorites to win the match, but they will have to prove their worth on the field.
The Red Bulls, on the other hand, did well to hold Milan to a 1-1 draw in their Champions League opener, but they face an uphill task in London. Since Chelsea are a real force to be reckoned with at home, anything but a routine home win would be a big surprise.
Our prediction, is Chelsea to win and Over 1.5
Juventus VS Benfica
Juventus will look to bounce back from a 2-1 loss to PSG when they take on Benfica in their second group game on Wednesday. They head into the match following a 2-2 draw with Salernitana, where both Juan Cuadrado and Arkadiusz Milik were sent off, but the duo will be available for selection against Benfica.
The Eagles, on the other hand, proved their worth in a 2-0 win over Maccabi Haifa, and you should bear in mind that they are eyeing their 12th consecutive triumph in all competitions. Given the number of absentees in the home side, we are positive that the Portuguese side will grab something from Wednesday’s clash.
Our prediction GG or Over 2.5
Maccabi Haifa VS PSG
Maccabi Haifa and PSG face each other in a David-vs-Goliath clash at Sammy Ofer Stadium. The Israelis failed to spoil Benfica’s party at Estadio da Luz, and they face yet another uphill task against the star-studded Parisians.
Christophe Galtier’s troops, on the other hand, made a flying start to the season, with the team eyeing their fifth consecutive win in all competitions. As previously mentioned, David faces Goliath in Haifa, and we predict that the Ligue 1 champions will give fans yet another reason for celebration on Wednesday evening.
Our prediction PSG wins
Man City VS Borussia Dortmund
Manchester City will look to retain the top position in Group G when they take on Borussia Dortmund in a highly-anticipated Champions League game. Man City faced no difficulties in a 4-0 crushing of Sevilla, and they are seen as hot favorites to beat the Yellow-Blacks as well.
The Bundesliga side, on the other hand, outplayed Copenhagen 3-0 in their Champions League opener, but they will have a mountain to climb at Etihad Stadium. Since Borussia experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-0 loss to Leipzig, a home win should be considered.
Our prediction, is Man City wins
Real Madrid VS Leipzig
Benzema-less Real Madrid will be aiming to overtake Shakhtar Donetsk in top position in Group F when they welcome Leipzig to their Estadio Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday evening. Los Blancos kicked off their Champions League campaign with a 3-0 win over Celtic, and despite Benzema’s injury, Carlo Ancelotti’s men are seen as favorites to beat Leipzig at home as well. Lucas Vazquez is yet another absentee in the home team after limping off with an injury in a 4-1 win over Mallorca.
The Red Bulls, on the other hand, did well to crush Borussia Dortmund 3-0 at the weekend, but Real Madrid will pose a much bigger threat for the Bundesliga side than their previous rivals.
Our prediction, is Real Madrid wins & Over 1.5
